Photography has always been in Lynn's blood. Literally. Her dad was a professional photographer and she absorbed a wealth of information from him. Lynn's photography career took her to LA and NY but memories of both childhood vacations with relatives at the Connecticut shore and the beauty of the New England landscape drew her back. Lynn opened her own photography studio in Boston in 1989 where she specialized in photographing performing artists. Spending  so much of her off time in Connecticut she eventually put down roots along the shoreline. This has given her the opportunity on any given day, when not in the studio, to drive off the beaten path and photograph nature.

Lynn says: The natural world has always inspired me. It's an incredible feeling to capture a moment in time - when nature's colors , light and patterns harmonize perfectly. Sometimes it's just being in the right place at the right time. I keep a keen awareness of my surroundings until that often fleeting moment appears to me. I feel that nature provides the beauty - I simply provide the tools to capture it. The designs in nature never cease to amaze me. Every photographer has his or her own eye. I hope you enjoy mine.
